Terms & Conditions

The ground rules for hosting rolls and shooting as a guest. The short version: your event, your photos, no surprises.

1. Introduction

Flick ("we", "us", "our") is a digital event photography platform operated by Flick Camera. By using flickapp.in you agree to these terms. Questions: hello@flickapp.in.

2. The Service

Flick provides a browser-based disposable camera experience for events. Hosts create photo rolls, guests scan QR codes and capture photos in their browser, and the host receives a gallery after a set reveal time. The service is digital-only. No physical products are sold or delivered.

3. Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create a host account. Host accounts require a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We use sign-in code authentication, and no passwords are stored by Flick.

4. Payments and Plans

Plans are charged per event, not as subscriptions, except Planner Pro. All prices are shown in INR or USD depending on your location. Payments are processed by Stripe for international payments and Razorpay for India. Your payment details are never stored on our servers.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Digital products such as PDFs and highlight reels that have been generated and delivered are non-refundable. Unused event rolls may be eligible for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase if no guests have joined. Contact hello@flickapp.in with your roll ID to request a refund.

6. User Content

Photos captured by guests are stored securely and privately. Hosts retain full ownership of all photos captured at their events. We do not use event photos for marketing, training, or any other purpose. Photos are deleted automatically when the roll's storage period expires.

6a. Host Responsibility & Consent

As the host, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and that you have the right and all necessary consents to capture, upload, and share photos of every person who appears in or contributes to your event roll — including parental or guardian consent for any minors. You are responsible for telling your guests how their photos will be used, and you agree to indemnify Flick against claims arising from photos collected at your event.

7. Guest Privacy

Guests are only asked for their first name. No email, phone number, or account is required. Guest photos are stored against their name only. Guests can request deletion of their photos by contacting the event host or emailing hello@flickapp.in with the roll URL.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use Flick to capture or distribute illegal content, content that violates third-party rights, or content involving minors without appropriate consent. To report violating or non-consensual content, email hello@flickapp.in with the roll link — we remove confirmed violations within 24–36 hours. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime during events. For critical events, we recommend testing the service before the event day.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flick's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific roll in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 7 days notice via email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
